Esstac KYWIs are simple folded Kydex retention devices that rely on friction and tension to retain magazines instead of pull tabs or flaps, keeping the top of the pouch open and easily accessible. Because of their Kydex construction, they can be easily adjusted using heat, making them highly adaptable.
