Since the L210 was discontinued, we've felt a gap in the armor market for a budget-focused, ceramic, special threat plate geared toward the serious citizen. We approached HESCO with this concern, and out of it came the T212!

The T212 picks up where the L210 left off. It drops some protection from obscure AK rounds like M43 and x39 API and adds three rounds of the much more common (and actually obtainable) M855A1 Enhanced Performance round. The T212 also went on a diet, dropping 1.6 lbs and 0.12 inches of thickness per set, compared to the L210.

The T212 pulls this off while maintaining a price range similar to the L210 in its heyday, which is what we're most excited about.
