TLR-1 HP-X

The TLR-1 HP-X is Streamlight's high candela version of the HL-X that launched last year. This new version boasts an impressive 77,000 candela and 1,300 lumens of power from the SL-B9 rechargeable batteries.

The HP-X also features all the same improvements as the HL-X, like improved switching, front-loading rechargeable batteries, and dual-fuel capability.

We will be stocking these lights in the coming weeks, so if you're interested, be sure to sign up for the waitlist.

We will also have holster support available when we stock our first batch of lights. Check out the product page for more information.

BURNT RETINAS Hesco 3612

The HESCO 3612 is a lightweight multi-curve Level III+ plate that is extremely similar to the venerable HESCO 3810. The 3612 offers a slimmer profile at a slightly lower price, but you lose protection from some of the larger caliber rounds like 7.62×54 LPS and 30-06 JSP that the 3810 covers.

"What body armor should I buy?" is a common question in our CS inbox. As with everything, armor comes with trade-offs. Want a cheap Level IV plate? It's going to be heavy. Or do you want an ultra-light Level III+ that offers protection from a wide variety of rounds? It's definitely not going to be cheap.

To determine what best fits your needs, you'll need to examine your situation and decide which trade-offs you're willing to accept and which ones are non-negotiables.

We put together this short article to provide an easy overview of our current armor offerings and some things to look for when researching so you can make your hard-earned dollar go as far as possible and make your gear better fit your needs. Check it out!
