A few weeks ago, we put SureFire's newest small body rifle light, the M340 Dual Fuel TURBO, up on our website. Now we're happy to announce that we also have the M640DFT available for purchase!

If overall performance and runtime are paramount over the weight and form factor of the small body M340DFT, then the big body M640DFT fits the bill. With 700 lumens, 100K candela, and well over 2 hours of runtime, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better-performing weapon light. SureFire sticks to the ANSI standards for their performance claims, so the new TURBO series is impressive, to say the least.

Lumens are great and all, but for identifying things at further distances, candela is king.

The M640DFT offers an impressive output of 100k candela. This is ideal for any kind of medium/long range rifle builds, but is also extremely handy for pushing through light barriers such as, fog, smoke, car windshields, or even other sources of light.

It's nice to have options, and although 18650s have their benefits, it can provide peace of mind knowing that you can run the light on two CR123 batteries as well. CR123s are still the more common battery—a lot of optics, night vision, and IR laser devices use CR123s, which may mean you want to stick with CR123s for simple logistics.
