Rite in the Rain’s highly engineered waterproof paper turns a normal notebook into a highly effective way to take notes that won’t be destroyed by rain, sweat, grease, or mud. You can use a regular permanent marker to write in dry conditions or—if you want to write in wet conditions (even underwater)—use a regular graphite pencil, crayon, or one of Rite in the Rain’s pens. Weighing in at 13.7 ounces, the 8T is far from the lightest in its class, but it offers up to 100,000 hours of battery life from a single CR123, has a large EOTECH-like field of view, and four different reticle options.
